Even though we have started producing our high-quality wine only in 2021, we at Tenute Ugolini have established ourselves as a consolidated reality, bringing the highest quality on your tables. The fine wines made by Tenute Ugolini will be available among the stands in Hostaria Verona, accompaniying you both in your journey through the streets of Verona and in your participation to the planned events.
Tenute Ugolini: rediscover the taste of tradition with the red Valpolicella wine
Our wine, naturally a red Valpolicella, will make you rediscover the lost wisdom of our grandparents, who used to cultivate the hills in the valley with passion, to get an extraordinary wine. The grapes produced by our vineyards, fermented and processed with the utmost care under the watchful eye of our expert oenologists, allow us to pour a unique wine, whose quality is recognized both nationally and internationally. The peculiar traits of the land, along with the strong northern wind that blows on the valley, make for strong and healthy plants, that gift us with the best possible grapes each year.
Our family takes part with enthusiasm in a centuries-old tradition of winemaking in the Valpolicella region. For this reason, we chose to farm our land in a natural and healthy way. “Bio” for us is not just a label, it is the expression of an ancient tradition that we follow with pride and passion. Our lands are cultivated without artificially made pesticides or fertilizers, because we strongly believe that nature has already given us everything that we may need. Moreover, our process is carefully examined to guarantee an unparalleled quality: from the collection to the fermentation, from the processing to the safekeeping, we care that everything goes as it is supposed to, so that we may give you a red Valpolicella wine we can be proud of.
The Mora wine from Tenute Ugolini takes part enthusiastically in Hostaria
Hostaria is the ideal event to engage with family and friends in a fun activity, which is also a great opportunity to take a nice walk in the city centre, an event of friendliness and unity. The path, which goes through the whole historical city centre, will bring you to discover the historical attractions of the city, while you taste a refined, high-quality wine. And what could possibly be a better companion for this journey than a nice glass of our Valpolicella Mora wine?
Hostaria is an event in which, year after year, the people of Verona choose to celebrate their culinary culture. Since 2015, this celebration has become a must-have for many participants – enthusiasts or not – who decide to spend a weekend doing something different. The nice, warm feeling typical of the osterie here in Verona will accompany the whole event. It has been planned to promote the high-quality products in the area, especially the culinary culture, which has a strong legacy in the area.
One of the principles followed to organise this event is diversity, with a particular care given to the most fragile individuals in our society. Hostaria has been organized partnering with Coati, and it will fund a charity called I bambini delle fate, which deals with autistic and disabled children. It was really important for us at Tenute Ugolini to participate in this event not only to share with the public our great passion for the Valpolicella winr, but also because we feel very keenly about contributing to such causes.
Hostaria offers a complete culinary journey: great food and amazing wines from all over Italy to discover an ancient culture. From Sicily to Tuscany, going all the way over to Puglia, there is a great variety of fine wines available. Naturally, even though we greatly appreciate the opportunity of discovering something new and travelling all over the country, our hearts beat in the peace of Valpolicella. Among those green hills, a haven of peace in the middle of industrialization, we proudly produce our Mora wine, capable of warming up even the iciest heart.
This Italian Amarone is produced with three different types of grapes, all produced directly in our vineyards: Corvina, Rondinella e Molinara. After the harvest, these grapes are fermented and processed, left to rest just the right amount of time, only to later meet with the black berries that add the final aroma. It’s a real journey through flavours that will make even the most demanding palate happy.
Let’s say the truth: we at Tenute Ugolini are proud to say that we are leaders in our field. We put all our passion in each glass of wine that we pour, along with our skills and, above all else, our love for an ancient art, passed on through generations. We have chosen to participate in Hostaria with enthusiasm, because we feel that it is a great way for us to bring our high-quality wines in the streets, among the people. In each glass of red Valpolicella, bottled in our Tenute Ugolini, there is a story to discover, that we’d like to share with you.
