Creating a wine tourism today is not enough and Eleonora is the perfect witness. Having been part of Ugolini’s team for about one year now, together with Marica, she takes care of the customers, guiding them through tastings and opening the doors to the fascinating world of Valpolicella.
Ever since she was only a girl, she has always been very passionate about everything surrounding grapes and their nectar. She started her oenological studies at the Istituto Tecnico Enologico of San Floriano and went on with her specialization, graduating from the University of Verona.
Valpolicella is my destiny
“I was born between the vines and olive trees of an ancient mansion of Valpolicella and I have always enjoyed its colors and scents. The world of wine has always fascinated me and working at Tenute Ugolini has been a great opportunity as it has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of Valpolicella’s wines and its territory, which I have always been part of.
I feel an ambassador of my territory and this is simply fantastic. I am also lucky enough to do so from a special place that exudes an overwhelming charm and beauty: Villa San Michele“.
How to make a tour visit of the winery unique
“The care for welcoming the customer, says Eleonora, is the distinctive element of a quality service. This way, the oenological knowledge and preparation I acquired over time with my studies better satisfy those who visit the winery.
Many non-professionals or people not working in this field curiously try to delve further into the meaning of this territory, especially about oenological practices and tasting techniques. It is an added element that I can offer visitors that, combined with an extraordinary location, allows us to raise their satisfaction to the very awaited WOW!
From the “collina dei conigli” to colle San Michele
In order to tell about Eleonora’s hobbies, we can paraphrase the beautiful book published in 1972 by Richard Adams “Watership Down”. A life divided between his pet rabbit farm and the hill where the Villa delle Tenute Ugolini is located.
“I have a huge passion for animals! In addition to breeding pet rabbits I love the world of horses and, after practicing for nine years the show-jumping, today I relax by mounting the American horses of a friend of mine in her enclosure”.
Eleonora passionately guides all the winery visits, trying to gift another distinctive element: her beautiful smile!
